A 21-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday while trying to enter the Ciudad del Este Regional Prison with drugs hidden under his clothes. Luis Alberto Giménez Giménez, a resident of the Caacupemí neighborhood in Hernandarias, was caught by agents of the First Police Station of the capital of Alto Paraná.

According to the police report, the suspect was carrying eight portions of marijuana, totaling 545 grams, and a package of cocaine weighing 90.58 grams, all fixed with adhesive tape to his back and arms. The discovery occurred during the entry search at the prison unit.

Teams from the National Police's Anti-Drug Department conducted a narcotics test on site, which confirmed the presence of both substances.
