The mother of one of the young men killed in the double homicide recorded in Cambyretá, Itapúa department, made a public appeal for justice. In statements to the press, she said she has not yet been able to process what happened and asked that authorities carry out their duty seriously.
“I want them to do their job well,” the woman said, also requesting permission to hold a wake for her son's remains while investigative procedures continue. In the case of the man found burned inside a pickup truck, body parts were sent for forensic examination.
The crime, which occurred in the Cambyretá region, shocked the local community. Investigations are ongoing, and police have not released any suspects or motives. The victim's mother hopes the case will not go unpunished.
