A truck with Paraguayan license plates was found carrying 240 kilograms of cocaine hidden in four tires after raising suspicions during an inspection on BR-277 in Céu Azul, in the Brazilian state of Paraná. When stopped, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
During the initial inspection, packages containing a substance resembling cocaine were found in two tires. A canine unit indicated two more tires at the front, which also contained packages. The remaining four tires were examined and showed no signs of drugs.
The truck was taken to a Federal Highway Police (PRF) facility in Santa Tereza do Oeste. The cargo was removed on the afternoon of September 24, 2026.
