This Saturday, May 23, the historic center of Asunción will be the stage for the fifth edition of the AMY CUP 2026, considered the country's largest professional women's gaming tournament. The in-person event runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Espacio Cultural Staudt, on Iturbe Street near Mariscal Estigarribia, with free access for the public.

Competitive registrations for players are already closed, with the best teams in the country selected. Organizer Amyris Díaz stated that the initiative aims to boost female participation in Esports and create safe, professional spaces within the gaming industry. “AMY Cup is not just competition, it is a community with talent and a real space where women make their mark in the Esports scene,” she said.

More than 40 players and eight teams will compete in the Valorant tournament, exclusive to women. The event is part of the AMCHA program and the emblematic Feria Palmear, combining competition with live interactions. Expectations are for over 3,000 in-person visitors and more than 50,000 views on digital platforms.

The experience will include live commentary of the matches, tech activations, sponsor booths, and giveaways for the audience. The AMY Cup was born with the mission of breaking stereotypes and building a professional competitive ecosystem for women in gaming.
