Residents of the Itapuamí area, in Luque, report that Makiguchi Avenue is in a deplorable state. They say the road has lost all its asphalt and is covered in mud and huge potholes, making it difficult for vehicles and pedestrians to get around.
Residents state that the situation has dragged on for months and that the persistent potholes pose accident risks, especially for motorcyclists and cyclists. The lack of maintenance also causes disruptions to public transport and access to basic services.
So far, there has been no official statement from the Luque municipal government on the issue. The report could not confirm whether road repair works are planned.
