A bus from the Line 30 "Vanguardia" got stuck on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 8, after its front left wheel sank into a crater on the sidewalk of Yegros Street, near Herrera, in the microcenter of Asunción. Passengers had to disembark while waiting for assistance to free the vehicle.

The incident occurred on a detour established due to ongoing repaving works on Azara Street, which are part of the municipality's "Plan ASU 400 cuadras." The intervention on Azara involves the removal and replacement of the hydraulic pavement on the stretch between Tacuarí and Colón streets.

In addition to the work on Azara, the Asunción Traffic Directorate reported that, simultaneously, construction is also underway on General Díaz Street, between 14 de Mayo and Ayolas, where one of the lanes was blocked. The constant detours have caused congestion and further complicated traffic in the central area of the capital.
