The funds come from the National Fund for Paraguayan Audiovisual (FONAP), financed with the institute's own institutional revenues (Source 30) under Decree No. 4,200/2025. The call sets the following maximum amounts per category:
- 2 fiction feature films: up to G. 600 million each;
- 1 documentary feature film: up to G. 290 million;
- 1 debut film (fiction or documentary): up to G. 260 million;
- 2 minority co-productions: up to G. 260 million each;
- 1 series (fiction, documentary, or animation, with a minimum of 6 episodes of 20 minutes): up to G. 1.6 billion.
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online form available on the INAP website (inap.gov.py) by June 26, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. Physical submission of documents takes place until September 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. INAP recommends that producers apply in advance.
The international jury will consist of three experts with established careers. The evaluation will consider project quality, development, distribution, and financing strategies, as well as automatic scoring for gender parity, inclusion of people with disabilities, creators from the interior of the country, use of original Paraguayan music, and, in the case of series, participation of indigenous communities. The results will be announced in a live broadcast and are final.
