The private jet of Brazilian banker Daniel Vorcaro, jailed since March in the context of the collapse of Banco Master, is operating from a base in Asunción, according to investigations by the Brazilian press. The aircraft, a Gulfstream GV-SP model with registration PR-PSE, has made 16 international flights since the businessman's arrest, which left a 52 billion reais (about $9.9 billion) shortfall to be reimbursed to investors.
According to reports published by Valor Econômico based on a report by the Folhapress news agency, the plane, valued at approximately 120 million reais, left the state of Florida in the United States ten days after Vorcaro's detention and established a permanent base in Paraguayan territory. Flight records indicate that the jet departed from Asunción to destinations such as Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Anguilla, Barbados, Hanover, Paris, Monaco, Malta, Dubai, and Luanda.
Aviation law experts consulted by Brazilian media suggest that the strategy of operating from Paraguay aims to prevent the Brazilian Federal Police from seizing the aircraft, which has two court orders preventing its sale or transfer. A relevant detail is that the aircraft has not entered Brazilian airspace since August 20, 2025.
The identity of the current passengers of the plane remains unknown, as there are no public records about who is using the aircraft. Daniel Vorcaro's defense has not responded to journalists' questions about the use of the jet, which remains registered in the name of Viking, the former banker's asset holding company. Meanwhile, Vorcaro remains in jail and is negotiating a plea bargain agreement with Brazilian justice.
