Itapúa Government Inaugurates Health and Infrastructure Works in the Northeast of the Department

Governor Javier Pereira announced the delivery of renovated health centers, new medical equipment, and paving sections in the districts of Capitán Meza and Natalio, with investments exceeding 1.5 billion guaranies.

The governor of Itapúa, Javier Pereira, announced a new round of inaugurations and activations of works in the northeast of the department, with significant investments in health and road infrastructure in the districts of Capitán Meza and Natalio.

The agenda began in Capitán Meza with the activation of the second work carried out in a health center in the region, specifically in Capitán Meza 16, where more than 350 million guaranies were invested in infrastructure. The unit also received new medical equipment, including an X-ray machine and other instruments to strengthen community health care.

The authorities also confirmed the official inauguration of a completely renovated and expanded health center, with an investment in building works reaching about 1.2 billion guaranies. The building was fully restructured after nearly 80 years of operation, offering modern facilities and better medical care conditions for the local population.

In the scope of investments carried out in Capitán Meza, other already completed works and ongoing projects were also mentioned, including paving sections and support for the productive sector with the delivery of an agricultural tractor.

Afterwards, the delegation moved to the district of Natalio, where a 600-meter paving extension was activated in the kilometer 9 area, benefiting residents and producers of the community.
