Pablo Novosad Highlights Citizen Support and Focuses on Addiction Prevention in Encarnación

Pre-candidate for city councilor Pablo Novosad emphasized the positive reception of his proposals for family strengthening and mental health during the campaign, at the groundbreaking ceremony for a community center for substance abuse care in the Pacu Cuá neighborhood.

Pre-candidate for city councilor of Encarnación, Pablo Novosad, said that the welcome from residents in the neighborhoods has generated optimism in his political team, less than three weeks before the municipal elections scheduled for June 7. The statement was made during the groundbreaking ceremony for the future Community Center for Care for People with Substance Abuse and Mental Health Problems, in the Pacu Cuá neighborhood.

Novosad attended the event alongside pre-candidate for mayor Sebastián Remesowski and highlighted the importance of the project, calling it “extremely necessary” for the city. “These actions are not promises, they are concrete facts. This 1,200-square-meter plot has already been donated for a construction that will benefit many people,” he said.

The leader also noted that the future center will be located in a strategic area of Encarnación, on one of the city's main avenues. In his speech, Novosad emphasized that proposals related to family strengthening and addiction prevention have been well received among voters. “We already know the projects when we visit the neighborhoods and receive praise. We will work strongly on addiction prevention and on mental health lectures,” he said.

He added that these initiatives will be coordinated with the proposal to create a Family Directorate within the city government, aiming to promote monitoring and social containment policies in different sectors of the community. Novosad also stated that the team is intensifying its tours and territorial organization to be prepared for election day.
