The Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology (DMH) reported that cold persists across Paraguay, with minimum temperatures below 10°C and the possibility of dropping to as low as 5°C between Thursday and Saturday.
On Thursday, the weather is expected to remain cold to cool, with partly cloudy skies and southeast winds. No rain or thunderstorms are forecast for any region of the country. On Friday, precipitation and possible thunderstorms are expected in areas of the north and east, including Ciudad del Este.
In Asunción, the temperature recorded before dawn was 8°C, with a forecast high of 19°C. In Encarnación, the high is also expected to reach 19°C, while Ciudad del Este could reach 20°C. In the Chaco, the forecast high is 19°C. In Caazapá, the low forecast for today is 5°C.
The DMH does not project significant changes in temperatures in the coming days.
