Midfielder Hugo Lorenzo Quintana, 24, who came through the club's youth academy, was sold to Ecuador's Independiente del Valle for $2 million, a fee paid for 50% of the player's economic rights.
Goalkeeper Facundo Insfrán Lirussi, 20, from Encarnación, was transferred to the United Arab Emirates' Al-Wahda FC for $700,000, also for half of his transfer rights, which guarantees future revenue for the Decano due to the player's youth.
