Misiones Producers Demand Census to Clean Up Registries and Call for Fair Price in Hambre Cero

Misiones Peasants Suspend Mobilization Until May 26 After Promises of Food and Resource Delivery

The Peasant Organization of Misiones (OCM) declared a pause in its mobilization until May 26, after the Governor's Office of Misiones and the Yacyretá Binational Entity (EBY) promised to distribute food kits to 14,000 families and release funds for productive programs. Residents of Chako’i Demand Improvements to Rural Road Hindering Production Flow

Inhabitants of the Chako’i community in San Juan Bautista, Misiones, have been requesting for years the restoration of a 4 km stretch that connects the community to the city. The narrow road, lacking proper drainage, prevents vehicle traffic and hinders the transport of agricultural products for 25 families. The city government states that work will begin this week.
