The Friendship Bridge will have partial traffic interruptions for maintenance in June

The International Friendship Bridge, the main connection between Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil), will have partial traffic interruptions on the nights of June 11 and 12 for maintenance work carried out by the concessionaire EPR Iguaçu, including pavement repairs and lighting system restoration. Pedestrian access will also be restricted in the work area, but crossing will remain available on the opposite side.

Meteorology warns of storms with winds up to 100 km/h in Paraguay

The Dirección de Meteorología e Hidrología of Paraguay has issued a warning for a storm system that will affect the entire Paraguayan territory between Wednesday, the 10th, and Thursday, the 11th. The system will bring heavy rain, lightning, the possibility of hail, and wind gusts of up to 100 km/h. The northern part of both the Eastern and Western regions will be the most affected, with rainfall totals between 60 and 100 millimeters.
