Sagrada Família's Jesus Christ tower to be inaugurated in June by Pope Leo XIV

Barcelona's Sagrada Família basilica has completed the central 172.5-metre tower designed by Antoni Gaudí. The inauguration and blessing will take place on 10 June, presided over by Pope Leo XIV. The four-armed cross, 17 metres tall, was manufactured in Germany and Catalonia in 2025, and the sculpture Cordero de Dios by artist Andrea Mastrovito will be installed at the top.
